Why is my SIM card not working?

It’s important to understand your SIM card type and compatibility with your device. Before troubleshooting, review the differences between an eSIM and a physical SIM card.

Physical SIM cards should work automatically when inserted into a new device, so you should ensure that your device is unlocked, compatible, and operates on the latest operating system when activating your SIM card.

If you’re having trouble connecting to the network and/or making calls and texts, your phone may not be set up correctly. You may need to set up or troubleshoot your Program data settings (APN).

How do I get my data to work?

If your data isn’t working, you should try refreshing your network settings. Follow these steps:

  1. Turn on Airplane Mode, wait a few seconds, and then turn it off.

  3. Disable Bluetooth, wait a few seconds, and then enable it.
