I am buying a new phone, do I need a new eSIM?

Yes, if you have an active eSIM on your current device and you wish to switch to a new phone, you will generally need to set up a new eSIM for the new device. Once installed, the eSIM is tied to the specific device, and each phone requires its own unique eSIM configuration. You will have to contact the Mobile Customer Care team at 855-811-5188 and request a new eSIM.
