What mobile fees will be added to my bill?

Two types of mobile fees that you may find on your bill include the Universal Service Fee and the Regulatory Recovery Fee. The current rates are updated on an annual basis. For more information on each fee type and its current rates, check out the FAQ section below.

What is the Universal Service Fee?

All telecommunications providers, including Breezeline, are required to contribute to the Federal Universal Service Fund (USF). This fund makes telecommunications services more accessible and affordable for all Americans, including individuals with low incomes, residents of high-cost areas, and institutions like schools, libraries, and rural healthcare providers. The USF fee is normally less than $2 per line and varies by location.

What is the Regulatory Recovery Fee?

Breezeline Mobile includes a Regulatory Recovery Fee to recoup what the company is required to pay to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for telecommunications relay services. This fee provides telecommunications services to the hearing-impaired.

Please note: This fee is not a tax and is not mandated by the government. The fee is a surcharge that is typically updated on an annual basis and is currently about 2.2%.
