If you have no sound when viewing cable channels, please try the following steps:
Verify that the MUTE button on the remote control has not been pressed. Try pressing the MUTE button to restore sound for both the HD digital adapter and TV.
Check other devices connected to the TV set to see if they have sound, or if it is all devices. If all devices have no sound, that would mean the TV set itself is having issues.
Verify that the volume on the HD digital adapter is not turned down. Press the volume up on the digital adapter remote. Volume level will be displayed on the bottom of the TV screen.
